What I do
I am a psycho-dynamically trained psychotherapist with experience in working with depression, anxiety, relationship obstacles, trauma and dealing with life changes. I have a background in Sociology and Anthropology and use a range of treatment models in dealing with patient’s needs and concerns.
If applicable, my treatment takes into consideration the cultural background of the client and any relative conflict resulting from immigration, assimilation and language barriers.
I am fluent in English and Persian. Whether it be a specific conflict that needs to be addressed or a general desire to improve life, I am interested in understanding the issue brought to the therapy room.
What to expect from your visit
My goal is to provide a comfortable and safe space for each client, one which we may understand obstacles to living your best life, free from the familiar patterns and self doubts that hold you back. We often struggle with ‘not getting what we want’ without knowing the reasons for this. Through the process of therapy, we are able to understand what is getting in the way of us getting what we want. I will be able to assist you in this journey and provide the tools you need along the way.
Please contact me by email or phone to inquire about my rates.
